For the fourteenth year, we will be creating a garden for the St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild Decorators’ Show House.  This year’s house is located at 5 E. 71st Street (southeast corner of 71st and N. Meridian Streets).  Having designed and installed the landscape for the house for its previous owners in the late 1990’s, we are gratified to see that it has matured gracefully.  The Show House is open to the public April 28 – May 13, 2012.  Further information can be found at http://showhouseindy.com/.

For more than seven years Mark M. Holeman, Inc. has contributed to the cultural landscape of Indianapolis by providing ongoing sponsorship of the broadcasts of National Public Radio on WFYI (90.1 FM).

In conjunction with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, David Gorden worked with the Millersville at Fall Creek Valley neighborhood organization throughout 2011, creating a beautification plan for the commercial area surrounding the intersections of Emerson, Fall Creek Parkway, 56th St. and Kessler Blvd.  As part of Phase I of the effort, a volunteer tree planting day occurred, and two deteriorating asphalt median islands were replaced with planted islands filled with a mix of flowering perennials, ornamental grasses, and low shrubs.
